Classification of dangerous goods by air

For general air cargo, dangerous goods in air transport are divided into nine categories. These nine categories and the articles they include are:
Category I explosives (classification)
Item 1.1 Articles or substances with an overall explosive risk.
Item 1.2 Articles or substances that have a projectile risk but no overall explosion risk.
1.3 Articles or substances that have a small risk of fire, a small risk of explosion and/or a small risk of ejection, but no overall risk of explosion.
Item 1.4 Articles and substances that do not present significant danger.
1.5 Substances with an overall explosive risk and very low sensitivity.
1.6 Substances with no overall explosive risk and very low sensitivity.
Second gas
Item 2.1 Flammable gases.
Item 2.2 Non-flammable and non-toxic gases.
2.3 Toxic gases.
Class III flammable liquids
Category IV: flammable solids, spontaneous combustion substances, substances that release flammable gases in contact with water
Item 4.1 Flammable solids.
Item 4.2 Spontaneous combustion substance.
Item 4.3 Substances that release flammable gases when exposed to water.
Fifth oxidants and organic peroxides
5.1 oxidants.
5.2 Organic peroxides.
Class VI toxic (toxic) substances and infectious substances
6.1 Toxic substances.
6.2 Infectious substances.
Category 7 radioactive substance.
Class VIII corrosive products.
Miscellaneous dangerous goods, Class 9. Air Transport Dangerous goods by air classification Air transport
